Food Pantry – Loving Your Neighbor

God instructs His people to care for the less fortunate.  This is an essential part of our mission here at Westminster: “To know Jesus and to make Him known.”  Our food pantry endeavors to demonstrate the command of Jesus, to “love your neighbor as yourself.”

Isaiah 58:7 provides further guidance.  It directs us to share food with the hungry and give shelter to the homeless. Give clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who need your help.

We have partnered with the West Texas Food Bank to provide food to our friends and neighbors in need. On the last Saturday of each month, we distribute food boxes to families through our drive-through model. Volunteers are welcome to help box assembly @ 2 p.m. and food boxing @ 3 p.m. on the last Thursday of each month at the church!

May God Bless You!
